Welcome to the Dr Lindi Foundation

Established in 2018 to uplift underprivileged communities, the Dr Lindi Foundation, led by qualified Medical Practitioner Dr. Lindi Mokwena, focuses on providing physical, psychological, and emotional support. Our mission is to significantly impact and empower lives through kindness and compassion, particularly in rural South African communities where resources are limited.

Empowerment Initiatives: Creating Lasting Change

We address critical gaps, including nurturing both boys and girls, through innovative projects like Mr. & Miss Pride of Ga-nala. This unique platform combines pageantry, edutainment, psychosocial counseling, skills impartation, and motivational talks to empower youth. Our commitment extends to practical initiatives, such as the School Shoes Project, Toddler Toys Project, and Tertiary School Starter Pack Project, ensuring that underprivileged children receive essentials for education and well-being.

Building Brighter Futures: The Vision of Dr Lindi Foundation

Occupational Health Collaboration

Partnering with Kriel Occupational Health Centre, we offer a practical skills program, addressing the pressing issue of youth unemployment. This initiative provides training opportunities for Occupational Health Nurses, Medical Technicians, and students in various fields, fostering employability.

Our Values: Guiding Principles of Kindness and Generosity

Driven by values such as integrity, dignity, kindness, generosity, compassion, and love, we emphasize inclusivity. Our focus is not only on girls but also on nurturing young men to build an inclusive society without gender discrimination.

Get Involved: Donate Items, Make a Difference

We don’t accept cash donations, but we welcome item donations in the form of vouchers or physical items. By contributing to our initiatives, donors receive certificates of appreciation, acknowledging their support in creating positive change.
